Getting a Handle on Things at 99: Pulls, Knobs, Door Hardware

We are heading towards August and the finish line is in site; there is about a month to go. Today 7.23.25 we had so many trucks here and so much activity: electricians, plumbers, appliance installers, cabinet finishers, and more.

Here are some of the photos of the knobs and pulls (more to come):

The pocket door to the primary suite can be locked. This allows us to block off the second floor if we ever have anyone use the house when we are away. Some additional door handles also picture here:

Most of the toilets are just toilets, except for the primary bathroom where we have a smart toilet: heated seat, bidet, auto flush. The first photo is the smart toilet.

The island will have a bin for trash and one for recycling. The microwave is top loading and is located in the island. And yes, it has the most important part of a microwave, a clock 🙂

And some additional photos of the washer dryer (on pedestals and they are blue!), the TV in the great room, the door to the basement, and the range with hood vent.

What’s left you ask? Why still a month out you ask? Here are just some of  what needs to be done:

Sod, irrigation, fence, attic stairs, closets, dishwasher installation, more cabinet finishes, the pantry shelves, window screens, front door paint, paint touch ups, cabinet lighting, driveway, mailbox, step from ground into the outdoor shower, outdoor shower light, outdoor shower shower head and controls, hooks, towel bars, tp holders, hanging the quarterboard, final inspections. And there will be a Punch List!
